A7 International has launched a digital asset payments platform that allows businesses and individuals to settle invoices using cryptocurrency, with funds arriving in recipients' bank accounts as conventional transfers. The company said the service is available remotely in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency circulation is permitted and complies with local legislation on digital assets.
A7 was founded in 2024 to serve the foreign economic activity of Russian businesses and has grown to serve around 15,000 companies, processing over 10 trillion roubles in 2025 alone, according to the company. The platform's expansion reflects demand from foreign entrepreneurs seeking faster, simpler cross-border payment options.
The mechanics are straightforward: clients transfer USDT on the TRON network, and A7 arranges a SWIFT bank transfer using counterparty details from the invoice. Recipients need no cryptocurrency knowledge or wallet and receive funds directly in their bank account. Available currencies at launch include US dollars, euros, Chinese yuan, and UAE dirhams, with others available by prior agreement. The company charges a 0.3% commission for both businesses and individuals.
To use the service, clients register on a7.biz and undergo identity verification if they are individuals or corporate data verification if they are companies. They then upload the invoice and required documents. The company said an automated system analyzes the sender, recipient, jurisdictions and key risk factors to determine the optimal payment route based on cost, speed, reliability and applicable restrictions. Payment execution takes at least one business day, after which clients receive a SWIFT message or confirmation document for customs and currency control purposes.
For savers, borrowers, business owners and investors in Rwanda, this service could reduce the cost and time needed to make or receive international payments if they operate in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency use is permitted and wish to transact in digital assets.
