Eko Power Limited has received a licence from Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission to distribute power in southern Lagos. The Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission granted the licence following changes required under the Electricity Act 2023.
The licensing marks the formal transition of power distribution operations in the southern part of Lagos state under the framework established by the 2023 legislation. This development affects households and businesses in the southern Lagos region that now receive electricity services from the newly licensed distributor.
