Salesforce announced on Thursday that it is offering free artificial intelligence tools to six million UK students. The scheme gives universities and colleges access to the company's workplace platform Slack and AI tools designed to help students develop the technical skills that employers are increasingly seeking.
The initiative comes as UK graduate vacancies have hit their lowest level since 2020. Salesforce said the programme aims to bridge the gap between the skills students possess and those that employers now demand, particularly in artificial intelligence.
