Bolt has awarded its best-performing drivers in Nairobi and Mombasa with fuel and vehicle service vouchers, tyres and other incentives. The company said the recognition took place during Customer Service Week. Drivers in the ride-hailing sector face rising operating costs, road safety concerns and changing customer expectations, Bolt noted.
Arthur Gacharia, Bolt's Senior Operations Manager, said drivers are central to shaping customer experiences and that their performance is critical to the company's service delivery. He explained that drivers are often the first and last point of contact in a ride-hailing journey and their work directly shapes the experience customers have. The awards were intended to acknowledge the time, effort and responsibility involved in providing reliable services.
