NGX takes Dangote refinery IPO to three African nations

The Nigerian Exchange is extending a $1.6 billion share offer in Dangote Refinery to investors in Egypt, Ethiopia and Botswana.

The Nigerian Exchange Group announced plans to broaden access to Dangote Refinery's initial public offering across three additional African countries. The IPO is valued at $1.6 billion. The expansion into Egypt, Ethiopia and Botswana aims to attract a wider pool of investors and strengthen ties between African capital markets.

By opening the offering beyond Nigeria's borders, the exchange seeks to deepen integration among regional financial centres and give more African investors the chance to participate in one of the continent's largest industrial projects.
