Dangote has said its initial public offering will give priority to small Nigerian investors seeking to own stakes in the industrial enterprise. The move will provide retail investors access to what the company describes as a landmark listing.
Aliko Dangote, president of Dangote, framed the IPO as an opportunity for Nigerians to acquire ownership in the group. The company is setting a threshold of N50,000 or less to determine which investors will receive priority access during the offering.
