Pesapal, a payment services provider, has partnered with Drift Consult, a business advisory firm, to launch RACK, a platform combining business management tools with payment processing for retailers and hospitality businesses.
Under the arrangement, Drift Consult will guide businesses through implementation while Pesapal supplies the payment technology, supporting mobile money and card transactions. The RACK platform enables retailers to track sales across multiple locations, manage inventory and reconcile payments. For restaurants and bars, it merges order management with checkout functions.
The companies said the system aims to reduce manual processes and give businesses better oversight of daily operations. Pesapal founder Agosta Liko said businesses need more than payment solutions. "They need technology that gives them visibility across their operations and helps them make better decisions," he said.
The platform may help small retailers and hospitality businesses lower administrative costs and gain clearer insight into their finances and stock management.
