CHI Farms marks two decades supplying poultry genetics to Nigeria

The agribusiness company has partnered with global breeder Aviagen for 20 years, providing farmers with breeding stock and technical support.

CHI Farms Limited, an integrated agribusiness company and member of Tropical General Investments Group, is celebrating 20 years of partnership with Aviagen, the global poultry breeding company.

Through the partnership, CHI Farms has made Arbor Acres genetics available to Nigerian poultry farmers while providing technical support tailored to local conditions. The company said the collaboration has expanded over two decades to include training and knowledge sharing with customers alongside the supply of breeding stock.

CHI Farms has worked with poultry producers across Nigeria since 1986, helping them improve flock performance and meet growing demand for poultry products, according to the company. The partnership's efforts have contributed to stronger productivity among poultry farmers and broader growth in Nigeria's poultry industry.

The company said it will continue drawing on its experience, market knowledge and strategic partnerships to support poultry producers and develop a stronger, more productive and sustainable poultry industry in Nigeria.
