CardinalStone wins Africa's best broker award for second year

The Lagos-based securities firm also took Nigeria's best broker title at the Euromoney Markets Awards, reinforcing its lead on the Nigerian Exchange.

CardinalStone Securities Limited has been named Africa's Best Broker and Nigeria's Best Broker at the Euromoney Markets Awards 2026, marking the second consecutive year the firm has secured the Africa award. The double recognition builds on earlier honours, including a Best for Equities in Nigeria award in 2024 and the firm's first Africa's Best Broker title in 2025.

CardinalStone has established itself as a leading player in Nigeria's capital markets and consistently ranks among the top-performing stockbroking firms. The company has maintained its position as the Nigerian Exchange's number-one securities firm by transaction value for four consecutive years from 2022 to 2025, supported by a strong institutional and retail client base, deep market insights and robust execution capabilities.

Peter Omoregie, Managing Director of CardinalStone Securities, said the awards represent "a strong affirmation of the consistency of our performance" and reflect the trust clients place in the firm, the expertise of its staff and its commitment to building a world-class African financial institution. He added that sustained leadership means "consistently delivering value, deepening market participation and contributing meaningfully to the development of Africa's capital markets."

Elile Olutimayin, Executive Director at CardinalStone, said the recognition speaks to "the hard work, dedication and consistency of our people, and the trust our clients continue to place in us." The honours also reflect CardinalStone's continued investment in technology, research and client-focused solutions, which enable the firm to serve diverse investors and facilitate access to opportunities across the capital markets.

For investors and traders in Nigeria, the awards underline that the country's leading securities firm by transaction value remains committed to maintaining its market position and expanding access to investment opportunities across Africa's financial ecosystem.
