Sun King has expanded its PowerHub inverter product line to reach new market segments in Kenya, the company said. The expanded range covers inverter capacities from 2.2 kilowatts to 30kW, designed to power larger appliances including water pumps, air conditioners and washing machines. Sun King unveiled the new products in Nairobi on October 8, targeting customers seeking alternatives to unreliable grid electricity and fuel-powered generators.
The company said the systems can be connected in parallel to increase power output, and customers can add battery storage and solar panels as their energy needs grow. Atta Arome, Sun King's Product Head for Solar Inverter Systems, said the expanded range now allows the company to serve homes, shops, businesses, schools, hospitals and offices of virtually any size. Growing demand for backup power and alternative energy systems is creating opportunities for solar equipment providers across Kenya.
